The structural crew that publishes its prices
Meriden Sill & Joist Repair is a structural wood repair service for Meriden and central Connecticut: rim joists, sill plates, joist ends, posts and beams and the termite damage that finds them. The prices live on the public cost guide and every quote ties to it line by line.
Why publish the table
Because structural findings scare people, and scared people get quoted scared prices. The real drivers, footage of failed wood, what it carries and how hard it is to reach, are knowable from a probe visit, so the ranges are knowable too. Publishing them means a seller mid-deal can size the problem the day the report lands, a buyer can sanity-check any credit demand and the invoice at the end reconciles against a page that existed before the fear did.
What we believe about the work
Probe before quoting, because stains lie in both directions. Shore slowly and lift barely, because the house above the repair is the actual client. Replace structure with structure, pressure-treated and isolated from the masonry that killed the original. Name the water source on every quote, since dry wood does not rot and wet repairs are rentals. Pull the permit and hand over the file, because this work disappears behind walls for decades and the paper is how it keeps its value. And tell people when their house is fine, which happens about a third of the time and is the cheapest sentence we sell.
If that matches what your house deserves, start with the cost guide or call (475) 241-7713. Photo reviews are free, and so is the honest answer when the scary flag turns out to be an old stain.
